Across the world The Democracy Center is working with groups to advance to cause of human rights in the face on an ever-tightening web of global rules aimed to protect the world's most powerful and wealthy at the expense of the poor. In 2005 The Center, in unison with human rights groups worldwide will launch a new campaign called Human Rights First , to add provisions to all international economic agreements making them subject to international human rights law.
